Interview Countdown — Days Until the Interview

← Career StationThe Creative Island · Island 11

The interview is coming — watch it approach, day by day, second by second.

Nothing is saved — re-enter any time. Plan the last day before the interview for rest, not cramming.

How to use this tool

  1. Enter the company and role (it becomes your countdown label).
  2. Pick the date and time of the interview.
  3. Press Start countdown — keep the tab open and let it run.

Example

Interview on the 20th at 2 PM: 12 days to go. Divide that: 6 days for company research and stories, 4 for mock answers, last 2 for rest and logistics (route, clothes, documents).

The formula

countdown = interview date − now, ticking every second

What the result means

A countdown turns anxiety into a schedule. The days-to-go number tells you which phase of preparation you owe: research, rehearsal, or rest. When it hits zero, remember that interviews are conversations, not exams — the countdown did its job already.

Frequently asked questions

Can I track multiple interviews?

One per tab — open the page in a second browser tab for a second interview. Nothing is saved, so nothing conflicts.

Does the countdown keep running when I close the tab?

No — it runs while the page is open. Come back and re-enter whenever you want the count; it's deliberately storage-free.

Why does the time matter?

So '1 day to go' means one true day before you walk in — not a date change at midnight.

Is my interview data stored?

No — nothing leaves your browser.
